HOLI........

In the evening i got call from my friend. He asked me to come with him to the Ganpati wada. While going there we saw many holi (heaps of wood and dried cow dung) burning in the middle of the roads...

There were number of holis set to fire one next to another. After seeing that i thought why these people are burning individual holis ... cant there be a single holi for a whole area?....Instead of burning huge amount of wood for every single holi if we burn single holi it would be contribution towards saving the environment...aren't we adding to the global warming by doing these things(...... issue which is on heat these days)we are cutting lots of trees for wood that we are using in holi and we are producing many harmful gases by burning it..(contribution to global warming) ......I don't want to blame anyone but if we look at the issue in a positive way... people talk about global warming and what we should do to prevent it or at least lessen it but actually no one actually take actions against it rather no one wants to.......

These days holi has lost its traditional cultural values and it has became the competition of showing ones strength(.....political..:(..)Most of these people don't even know for what we actually burn the holi...for them its just the way of showcasing there strength in front of people...

Now tomorrow is dhulwad....(or wastage of water.....) yesterday i got a mail about the wastage of water, it had a picture saying "amount of water that get wasted on the day of holi in mumbai can serve the rajsthan for a year" this data maybe wrong but if we think practically what we are doing.....its wastage of water.we are wasting a huge amount of water just for the sake of holi....but have one ever thought of the poor farmers in marathwada or widarbha who are committing suicides because of the water issues.... these politicians would be shown in news playing,enjoying holi at some film stars garden, at that time do they actually think of the issue...NO........cause they simply don't care about it but when it comes to blame some one for these suicide and other issues in the loksabha or rajyasabha they are always ready....what they do is just blame others and don't look at there own things.......

we as youngsters should take action against the wastage of water......

what i want to say is "please dont waste the water"
